Mayra David is a creative writing instructor and freelance content writer with a background in film and theater. She is the co-creator and director of the one-person show Adventures in Baby Hitting, which won the Alliance for the Arts Fringiest Award at the Fort Myers Fringe Fest 2025. Her articles and essays have appeared in media outlets such as Domino Magazine and BrickUnderground. Mayra holds a Master of Letters in Creative Writing from the University of Glasgow. She is also a writing mentor in the PEN America Prison and Justice writing.
