Barbara Josselsohn is a best-selling author of eight contemporary and historical novels. Her latest, The Forgotten Italian Restaurant, is a multigenerational story that delves into the lives of two women bound by a fateful mistake made during the Nazi occupation of northern Italy. Her articles and essays appear in a range of publications including The New York Times, New York Magazine, Writer’s Digest, Parents Magazine, and Westchester Magazine. Barbara is a member of the Women’s Fiction Writers Association and is the founder and coordinator of the Scarsdale Library Writers Center, which helps support and promote local authors. She has a master’s degree in English from the University of Connecticut and studied fiction writing at Sarah Lawrence College and Manhattanville University.  Her next novel, a historical story set in the mountains of southern France during World War Two, is set to release in August 2025.
