Four Saturday Sessions
1 – 3 PM EST
Dates: 1/31 – 2/28 (OFF 2/21)
Much of what we hear is about the need to “find our voice” as writers. But how can we find our voices if we’re always writing quietly in our head, or pounding it out on legal pads and laptops? In this class, you will discover your authentic voice by reading your work aloud and listening deeply to others. Led by Douglas Moser—professional theatre director and author of novels, stories, plays, and memoirs—this workshop offers no tricks, only insight. Like a director shaping actors’ performances, Moser listens for the story, helps sharpen critical moments, and uncovers the drama within. Through in-class exercises and shared reading with focused feedback, writers hear what resonates, refine their truth, and speak with clarity and power.
