If you’ve ever felt the tug towards poetry, or if you’ve experience in reading and writing poetry. Through imaginative prompts and playful exploration, you’ll craft poems of all sorts while learning forms like the haiku, sonnet, pantoum, and sestina. You’ll be introduced to some techniques such as enjambment, figurative language, rhyme, and meter. Expect a joyful, encouraging space where everyone’s voice matters. No prior experience—just bring your curiosity. Poets of all levels come together in this workshop where we read, discuss, and create meaningful connections to a range of poetry. No matter your level, in this workshop you’ll gain confidence in your ability to talk about poetry and write your own poems.
