Five Thursday Sessions
1-3 EST
11/13 – 12/18 (OFF 11/27)
British art critic Cyril Connolly famously said that “there is no more somber enemy of good art than the pram in the hall,” and this class is a living rebuttal to an outdated way of thinking that views motherhood and creativity as at odds with one another. In this workshop for new moms, baby Zoom cameos are welcome. Each week we’ll start with a prompt and you’ll have the opportunity to share and get feedback on your work from other writers.
This online class is perfect for you if:
- you’re a new parent worried about how to make space for writing in this new phase of life
- becoming a parent has made putting pen to paper feel all the more urgent
- you’re looking to meet other creative moms in a space that allows for all the delightful and occasionally stressful unpredictabilities of new parenthood
