Four Monday Sessions
6-8 PM EST
Dates: 2/23 – 3/16
What does it mean to be “not quite” a beginner? Maybe you just took an introductory course and you want to keep the momentum going. Or maybe you’ve been writing fiction on your own for a while now, and you’re ready to make the leap to the next level. In this intermediate workshop, you’ll bring three pages of a work-in-progress to share with the group on Zoom each week. The rest of us will offer generous, constructive feedback, with the goal of helping you take your story or novel where you want it to go. Each class will also include a mini learning session on one of the central aspects of life as a fiction writer: practice, craft, revision, and publishing.
In this class, you can expect to:
- Share your writing out loud with others
- Listen and respond to your classmates’ writing
- Hear feedback that celebrates your strengths
- Hear feedback that challenges you to grow
- Deepen your creative practice in community with other, like-minded writers
