In crime fiction, the author must embrace deception, covet secrets, and master misdirection. And that’s just for starters. This class will help writers discover how to weave plot, setting, characters, twists, and other elements of craft into their manuscripts. Through workshopping, class input and weekly mini-lessons, you will learn the elements that make a great story.

The class will feature:

A supportive environment to share pages and receive feedback.

Weekly focus on various elements of a crime fiction novel (i.e. plot, dialogue, characters).
How to get the most out of your chosen point of view and chosen tense.
Review and discussion of published novels to help inform your work.
