Join former Westport Poet Laureate for a mid-day workshop for writers of poetry, flash fiction, and prose poems. Jessie will read a favorite poem, and you’ll do a brief analysis of what’s working. If time allows, she’ll share a related prompt or two. 

Students can expect:

• A light vibe – we try to have fun
• Insights into what makes certain poems tick
• An opportunity to grow your community of fellow writers
• The impetus to start generating four + new pieces
