Six Tuesday Sessions

Dates: 6/17 – 7/22
Online or In Person
Whether you’re polishing a manuscript, chasing a new idea, or staring down a blank page, this lively, streamlined version of my popular Anatomy of a Novel workshop is designed to ignite your creativity and keep it burning all summer long.
Each week, we’ll focus on reading and responding to student work in a supportive, energizing environment, with targeted discussions of craft woven in as needed—structure, voice, character, dialogue, and more.
Bring your in-progress novel, brainstorm something brand new in class, or use the sessions to finally start the project you’ve been dreaming about. Writers commit to sharing up to four double-spaced pages (2,000 words) per week for thoughtful, encouraging feedback.
Join us to build momentum, gain clarity, and keep your story moving forward—with inspiration, accountability, and community.

“For serious writers who seek an opportunity to learn the craft and how to apply the tools of the trade to the greatest extent possible in a four-week session, definitely take this workshop! You can’t help but improve on skills and creativity. You will come out with a much better understanding of the process than before and leave with a stocked toolbox.” – P.G.
“Anatomy of a Novel presents some basics of writing fiction that I haven’t found elsewhere, or that just haven’t clicked before. It has been enormously valuable. I’m actually writing a story now! ” – L.O.
