Seven Thursday Sessions 12:30 -2:30 EST Dates: 9/11 – 10/30 (off 10/2) ONLINE This is an intermediate class for writers whose first chapters are solid and who also know how their book ends. Our mission is to help clean up your book’s fuzzy, tangled in-between. The first half of each class will focus one or two structural roadmaps. The second half will offer in-class writing time and lots of discussion about plot, pace, character arcs, and anything else you would like to delve into. Your goal is to leave this class uplifted, relieved, and well on your way to writing a great book. In this class you can expect:

  • A warm, supportive environment
  • Respectful, constructive feedback from your fellow writers and the instructor.
  • Personalized discussions about structure, stakes, character-building, dialogue, and more
  • Help with writers’ block, obstacles, fear, and frustration
  • Banishing the pesky inner critic
  • Periodic cookies and donuts
