Each class begins with a short mini lesson/activity targeted to the middle grade book writing process from beginning through publishing. The remainder of each class is divided equally among participants to share a specified word count and receive feedback from the group. Before reading, the participant directs the group with specific types of feedback he or she is looking for (we review all options for feedback on the first day of class). Each participant is encouraged to share a writing goal so we can support each other throughout this collaborative course.
