with Victoria Buitron
To write about our lives is to reach into the seeds of our past and make them rebloom on the page. Do you feel compelled to write about your life but are not sure how to start? Or how to continue cultivating those small seeds? We all start somewhere, and in this Introduction to Memoir workshop, we’ll develop a foundation regarding narrative structure, pacing, and how to be an investigator of our past through a literary lens—all while considering the personal and publishing goals of each attendee. Each week, we’ll share our work in a welcoming environment and weave in craft for new and beginning memoir writers.
